^the sub output on the back of my headunit is a single yellow RCA output..so I dont know how I would wire that up?

and my sub is wired down to 4ohm,getting 450watts from the amp. Then wire is running into the +/- slot that the manual said to use. so its in the ++///--(its running into the 2nd +/-) <-if that makes since.

Edit;My headunit is Jensen VM9510TS if you wanna look into it.got it used,so have no remotes for it.
oh and also i was using another 7" non touchscreen when i had my L7.So maybe its the headunit.

Dude, you changed your whole set up!:ohyou:

Well for one you need to find out your specs for the headunit. Then I would bridge the amp.

that headunit has 5v preouts :ioof6: the gains are CRANKED in that case...surprised something hasn't given out (or maybe already has, since it has to be up so far).

per the jensen's OM, there is one output for the sub. SO...now you need to determine if the amp needs both RCAs inputs used (utilizing a 1male to 2male Y-cable) or if you can just use one single RCA. whats the amp model?

also seems like there are multiple sub adjustments and EQ and loudness selections. have you been through all of them? are the front speakers loud enough?

on the amp...phase at 0? bass at 0? wheres the subsonic set?

according to the amp's OM, page 6, you need to use both RCA inputs. if you dont have them both filled, it will cause loss of output. so, you could run a "standard" RCA back and just use one half of the cable from the headunit, then get a 1F2M Y-cable. 1 female in, 2 male out. i see i messed that up in my last post :lawl: forgot the "fe" part :lawl:
