ha thanks..But what should I be expecting after changing from "rear" out put to adding this adapter and using the "sub" output?
Should I expect nothing or heart pounding bass or what? ha

edit: I also have my sub wired down to 4ohm to give it 450watts to keep it safe...should i wire it to 1ohm or what? that will give it too much rms tho..its rated at 600/1200 ;Rms/peak
and 1 ohm for my amp is 1200rms.(so it says)

be like it is
should be a big improvement once the splitter is in. wiring it to 1 ohm is a preference call, so see if 4 ohms is loud enough. you'll have to be careful with the gain and volume knobs, and your charging system will struggle more...maybe some dimming.

ok thanks..ill keep it safe for now..since im just using an 90amp alt/100amp max..and optima redtop more powerful one they offer in redtops.(like 3 to chose from)
as of now no dimming and volts dont drop below 11.9 mainly at idle for a little while while its pounding.

nice part about dual coil subs...you get 2 choices of impedance included at no extra charge :lawl:

well just in general i wanted to know, but kicker seems like what i want, i just need something with a loud bump, i wanted to get pioneers since its was only 45 bucks for a 10" 1000watt sub.

I like Kicker amps and Pioneer HUs, but maybe more JL or Eclipse for subs

Unfortunately your opinion doesn't count this time, sentence structure is a wonderful thing. Try it.

I have a single Type-R 10" in a .65 cu/ft sealed box, pretty sure Alpine recommends a .70 cu/ft so I'm damn close for an off the shelf box. Sounds wonderful, very tight and articulated. I listen to a lot of punk and hardcore and it's perfect, can even hit the 8o8's in hardcore damn good.

You have a type r in a sealed box, though. :slap:

L7's, Cvr's, and the Cvx can sound pretty damn good in a properly built enclosure.
