does anyone know if i could cut this and make it into a sri?

indeed you could. although try and keep as much length as possible. long intake piping = low end torque. (as far as intakes INSIDE the engine bay go, try and have your filter to the left of the battery and as close to the headlight as you can)

Why would you want to make it into a SRI??? CAI is so much sexier and sounds better. (some will argue on the sound issue)

it looks like its 2 pieces due to the hose clamps and section in the middle...

the filter looks like it'll be right next to the battery, but facing down...not a huge deal

So I got the intake in, Its a major fail. Its just as cheap as every other ebay intake. the piping is weak and the filter is super small. It dosent even mount right. My car feels like it runs smoother, but its proably couse my old intake was beat to s**t. I feel bad couse it was a gift from my brother. It sounds nice, oh and it was made in Taiwan

At least it's better than the generic one. Sure, it's not like one of the name brand ones out there such as AEM and Injen, but it gets the job done right?

I'm considering swapping back from my Hybrid intake to my AEM SRI. I don't feel like cutting a hole in the bottom of my air intake box and I somewhat desire the AEM SRI sound haha. I'll think about it though. It's still lying around somewhere in my garage.
