I can’t believe how easy of a swap that was. Every time you get to talking about needles and stuff and everyone freaks out. Granted, years ago my buddy DID pull the needles off his 6GA and they did stop working but this was different. Disassembling it felt different. And easy, lol.
I really need the coupe hood. I’m afraid of buying it and it not fitting due to whatever damage the car has taken in the past and I’m pretty sure the yard doesn’t give refunds on exterior body panels. I have to get more/better clarification on that. If they do, same day, I’m haulin ass back to that yard. If not, idk what to do. That’s the cheapest option. All I can think to do is measure from latch to hinge bolt on both cars and hope they’re only millimeters off. Maybe a single centimeter, tops. I will also look at the radiator support or where the bumper attaches at the top. The coupe bumper has like 6 clips on top but the sedan slides into grooves and only has like 2 clips.
Otherwise, this is my front end goal for now:

BaysonR or OEM style lip and a retro.
I have the 7GA fogs but that bumper was such a nightmare to put on, I’m afraid to take it off, lol. Also, the way they mount to the 6G bumper is a little weird and precarious. Or at least the way I’ve seen it done. I also will need a harness.
I found a set of new “OEM” 6G fogs online for a decent price. Comes with a switch and harness (both look aftermarket) but it should all still work the same. I have an OEM switch.
I also wanna go back to the yard to that coupe for its rear bumper lights. Well, mainly the mount grommet thing. I like the LED ones I posted above and would just go that route but I want an OEM grommet and mount.
