Picture of the cluster in with the sedan’s original odometer.

I can’t believe how easy of a swap that was. Every time you get to talking about needles and stuff and everyone freaks out. Granted, years ago my buddy DID pull the needles off his 6GA and they did stop working but this was different. Disassembling it felt different. And easy, lol.

I really need the coupe hood. I’m afraid of buying it and it not fitting due to whatever damage the car has taken in the past and I’m pretty sure the yard doesn’t give refunds on exterior body panels. I have to get more/better clarification on that. If they do, same day, I’m haulin ass back to that yard. If not, idk what to do. That’s the cheapest option. All I can think to do is measure from latch to hinge bolt on both cars and hope they’re only millimeters off. Maybe a single centimeter, tops. I will also look at the radiator support or where the bumper attaches at the top. The coupe bumper has like 6 clips on top but the sedan slides into grooves and only has like 2 clips.

Otherwise, this is my front end goal for now:

BaysonR or OEM style lip and a retro.

I have the 7GA fogs but that bumper was such a nightmare to put on, I’m afraid to take it off, lol. Also, the way they mount to the 6G bumper is a little weird and precarious. Or at least the way I’ve seen it done. I also will need a harness.

I found a set of new “OEM” 6G fogs online for a decent price. Comes with a switch and harness (both look aftermarket) but it should all still work the same. I have an OEM switch.

I also wanna go back to the yard to that coupe for its rear bumper lights. Well, mainly the mount grommet thing. I like the LED ones I posted above and would just go that route but I want an OEM grommet and mount.

Could’ve swore I posted something here about a new door keeper thing. The “hinge” jam or whatever it’s called. I replaced it, on this car, sometime in the past since buying it. Well, it crapped out again. Gotta buy a new one. #lesigh

That sucked a lot. But, I got it. Might’ve been poor quality but I’m pretty sure that’s the 2nd one on the driver’s front that I’ve replaced with this car in 3 years. I had my coupe 13 years and never replaced one once.

Replaced both rear signal bulbs. The old ones worked but I wanted something brighter and I’m pretty sure the old bulbs were touching the inside of the housing. New bulbs are about 1/2” shorter but they don’t look brighter. Maybe a touch deeper but not significantly brighter.

Have OEM coupe rear bumper markers. Just need to pull the trigger on the LED lights. Maybe a red H for the front bumper?

Was looking at RSBs earlier. Found a Neuspeed for a decent amount. Giving that a thought.

I wish I used my parking brake more. I saw a mod once using a 7GA brake handle and one using a BMX grip. They looked cool but.. eh.

Coming up on time to swap my stock wheesl back on. The Patrick’s have decent tires on them but they’re kind of a lesser brand and not the best tread. My stocks have decent, new all-seasons.

Found a guy on one of the Facebook pages who has become my inspiration.

I never replaced the door stoppers in my coupe either. I did replace the driver door one (with an OEM unit) in our 2010 Odyssey right after we got it, annnd it's already worn down and no longer does its job. The door is pretty heavy, but feels pretty premature to have to do this again. It could also do with some larger detents to hold the door open since it is that large & heavy. Wonder if aftermarket ones are the same as OEM...

Amazed you found a Neuspeed anything. I never see that stuff anymore. If it's the thickness you want and price isn't crazy, I'd get it.

That sedan is nicely done. Jealous of those folding signal sidemirrors. And the paint.

Went to a junkyard this weekend. Was looking for an 0102 coupe bumper bracket, 97-01 CRV light grey leather headrests, and newer TL’s for RSBs.

Found coupes but no brackets.
Found dark grey headrests but left them.
Found a TL-S but it had been hit in the rear.

Nothing else really moving. Still gotta get the LED rear markers, find time to cut the holes and I really wanna get the front end squared away (bumper bracket, maybe hood) before tearing into making the 7G fogs work. I can find OEM-ish fogs but I think the 7G ones are growing on me.
