Re: James' 850whp Turbo "Stock" J36 Build

Your mother is a smart lady building your car to have 3 times the horsepower as your old setup. Maybe if she actually was smart, she would make sure that you can only drive this on a strip or track because the second someone looks at you wrong on the road, you're gonna have to prove your brotastic frat muscle and do a "sik j38 mommy powered fwd 850+ hp second gear 2 step burnout" into a median again. Then, maybe she'll buy you a top fuel dragster , because we all know you're mommy's little angel<3333 :)

All this work to use that garbage? Why would you want to do that? Judging from your posts money does not seem to be an issue here then why crappy turbo?

I was just going to do it for the time being because I'm getting bored. I will be running a 7175 at about @20 psi

I guess you didn't get it molded to fit you, that was my question. I know where you can buy them lol. Race car drivers I know use Kirkey, Butler Built, and Joie-of-Seating in their race cars. Most have them molded to fit their bodies in case of an accident.

No, its not molded to me. I thought about it but since i lend the car to a lot of my friends and sometimes my dad will drive it to the store while I'm in arizona just to get the car on the road; i figured id go universal.

The whole idea in a racecar is to reduce the amount that the human body moves during an accident. Most racecar drivers have seats that are molded personally to their bodies. That way, if the car got upside down, etc., the movement of the driver is extremely limited; thus reducing the possibility of head and neck injuries.

It is very limited even though being universal. I honestly just bought them for weight reduction.

Nice, cant wait to see the results. Btw what are the specs on the slicks and rims? do you still have a lot of wheel spin with all motor and slicks?
