on the plus side i think is AWD so that thing must grip the road.. the wheels have to go too

Pretty sure it's AWS (all wheel steering) not AWD.

My buddy has one of these, Previous own kinda trashed it bodywise, but we are sorta fixin it up. It's at interesting car. With enough money and time, I think these cars actually look really sharp, they even pull off the f&f body theme IMO.
