Now you're making me question it lol, I am not 100% but I think they're press fit. I guess I could look for ya, I have a few pistons laying around. I didn't have stock rods so it didnt really matter to me much.

Well, I have a box of stock pistons and rods that I just pulled out in the garage, and I should have a set of stock K20 pistons and rods somewhere around here too. Shouldn't they both come out just by heating the piston in hot water and slipping the pin out? I guess that'll be my little experiment this afternoon.

More goodies purchased yesterday. I had something of a revelation, and think I'm going to go e85 with this motor. Still need to get this approved with my tuner. Starting to get a little exciting here!

I usually press them out, but heating may work as well.

Well now it's not an issue since I went ahead and purchased forged rods. I am still curious though, so I'll probably still try it when I get the time.

Had a busy weekend with family, but managed to slip away for a few hours to sandblast and repaint my valve cover. The photo isn't very true to the color (Burnt Copper Metallic), but it is very pretty in person. I think this will work well to contrast with flat black block and manifolds. :)

Are those the pistons you got Jason, or some other ones?

What rods did you get, where did you get them, and how much did you pay? Very interested in hearing.

Pistons are Wiseco, #K568M865 for K20
    86.5mm
    -9cc dish
    Nitrided rings
    Coated skirts
They're designed to give the K20 a 9:1 ratio, but they should make 10.1ish compression in the F23. :boink:

Rods are Crower billet, #B93749B-4 for F23

Bill came out just over $1200 with shipping from Raceeng.

    Sh*t just got real...
