These cars have a "black box" a lot like the ones on aircraft. They record information about the car and save it for I think three days. Thus, if the car is abused, or if the owner blows the engine, Nissan techs will be able to see exactly what led to the problem.

So if you buy one, and abuse it, and something breaks, and you try and get it covered under warranty, Nissan will know, and the repair won't be covered.
