I too hate airbags. The idea of something exploding into my face to supposedly save my life just doesn't seem right.

But what about your head exploding into the wheel or the windshield or side window lol... I will keep mine unless if it's a track only car and I have a helmet.

Dude. i got a letter in the summer from honda saying there was a recall on my airbag because there was a defect in it that during the event that my airbag deploys, sharp fragments from something might fly out with it? i still have the letter lying around somewhere in my room. Did any of you get that letter as well? i have an 01 AV6

So i was thinking of doing a quick release steering wheel in my accord but i dont want to lose cruise control or my radio controls....can i just put them somewhere else like on the dash or something?

you cant put it back in. i already tried everything there is. i just havent messed with the system though. cause once you mess up, it might be replacing the whole unit.
