How do you think it'd sound? How much horsepower loss? :eh:My friend has a WRX with No Exhaust on it and it sounds badass, I know the WRX has a 2.5l engine and my Accord has a 2.3l engine so I wouldn't think they'd sound that much different. Thanks and Let me Know.

ur kidding me right? First of all he has a horizontal boxer 4cyl engine. His headers are not equal length giving it that rumble sound. If he is turbo the exhaust delete probably gave him more power, if not, he lost some. If we chop off our exhaust after the cat, I can guarantee you that it will be loud, raspy and annoying. It would not sound like a subaru. LMAO

if you wanna do this, get a "electronic cut out" aka e-cut out. its a remote controled y pipe that allows you to have open headers when you open it.

put it before the cat. if the open header sound is what your going for, do this, so you dont have to drive everywhere with it

here's a link to buy with info on it

Yah but he thinks his car will sound like a subie. I say, take ur cat off. If u like the sound, by this electric cutout or whatever it is. IMO it's a waste of money because eventually those things break.

It'd sound like open exhaust, what else would you expect it to sound like.

Your buddy probably has a catless downpipe. I doubt he removed the entire exhaust after the cat, if he did, he's a retard. Unless he has a new wrx, they were all 2.0L, not 2.5L

Actually I've got a friend here who took off the entire exhaust before the cat. It sounds pretty sick, but nothing like what our cars will sound like with no exhaut. Let's just say you'll be learning first hand about :rice:
