Yeah. Im gonna replace them tomoro. So if i were to accidently put a washer backwards or something,would my shocks make alot of noise? The current ones are toasted and make ALOT of noise going over bumps.
the one washer that you definitely want on right is the thick one with a beveled edge on the center hole. that edge is there to fit to the edge of the strut. some of them have " this side up" stamped on em, some dont. as for the rubbers and everything try to just make sure everything looks like its in the right place the right way. for example, if you go to put the rubber in the top hat and it doesnt sit snug, chances are its backwards...turn it around. look for wear marks if you are not sure. that hardware is tight for so long that each piece will leave some kind of wear on the next. overall make sure you have no spare parts when you are done, meaning stuff you forgot. especially the bumpstops. and make sure everything sits right and is tight. should be good. if you have any problems hit me up ill try n get you an exploded view of the strut.
