What's with the bashing bro? I have never claimed to be a expert! But I do know what I am talking about when it comes to hardware now tuning is not a strong suit right now I do in fact love the way my car is tuned way better than any pre set tune on my deck I do not run a 4 channel at the moment so I am a little limited on what my deck can do...

I opened this thread for hardware advice but I have been asked a few tuning ?'s and I tried to answer them to the best of my abilities...

And as far as saying upgrade my mids that is not a option right now I am out of work and have to make due with what I have believe me I would love to upgrade but hey... If its not in the cards right now what can ya do... Lol

If you have higher knowledge of frequency tuning please chime In and help me out! I'd really appreciate learning as well as everyone else on here

Let's rename this thread "if you don't like mid bass, please read!!!"

Lol.

My I first started audio, I used to cross my highs around 120 also, but the car seemed to be lacking some "fullness" so I started crossing around 80-85hz. Music sounds much better now a days. Before it was just all treb and bass.

High pass cross over- the lowest frequency your speakers will play at

Low pass cross over- the highest frequency your speakers will play at.

Respectively....

mids and highs crossed at lets say 80HZ will not play any tones lower than than 80HZ

subwoofer driver crossed at lets say 100HZ will not play any tones higher than 100HZ

i am still learning my tuning and my system sounds good the way it is but there most likely is room for improvement
