My TYC's have that cutoff and rubber boot :(
So you have the same problem as I do?
I think they are oem lenses i remember seeing on v6p the seller selling tycs wit oem lenses

don't send ur oem headlight.. and just do what i did...

retro tyc with tyc clear plastic on and oem head lights... looks nice to me...

and tell the dude who gave it to u to not expect ur oem headlight... LOL...

but the retro thingi is for real... do it...
And nope these are NOT the ones that were for sale with OEM lens. They are 100% stock TYC's.
Yeah, because so many people hate me, and I start problems all the time.

Right.
It's not that you start problems.. you're just a pompous *** kid.

Yea, that same cutoff. Idc really though, I've lived with it. Thinking of retro-ing some better projectors in it.

Thats really weird,i know tyc's are not the best but theyre not as bad as it looks in your pics..The cutoff(passenger side) is really off and the bulb seems kinda normal to me,although mine doesnt have a rubber booth at the back like you have in your pic.mine has a plastic cover with two screws,im thinking you got an updated style of the headlights which obviously look crappy..

Your best bet is to either return it &get the older types that have the pastic and screws at the back of the low beam or just stick to oem Headlights (non blackhoused),because i'm sure you're not gonna get a good output with HIDs in them (i never had to trim my H1 to fit in my tycs)

edit: Here's my own output with HIDs in them, they dont glare and have a good cutoff.

I wish I knew for sure who sold the type with the black plastic cover. TYC doesn't mention a damn thing on their site about changing them. Also where did you buy yours from?

I don't know how the hell you lived with it dude.. I can't see ANYTHING at night with it.
Check out my member's page for pics of the output on the ground.

6000k, H1 HID's. I just used the bracket, and bent it to hold the bulb in place.

I got mine from eBay,but i cant remember the sellers name..I'm not sure if its spelled SaltnPepper or something like that. I'll try to get pics of mine tonight with halogen bulbs when i get home to compare with yours. TYC should have said something concerning the new design on their site at least, its stupid for them to do something without letting the customers know.

Only problem I have with eBay is their not authorized dealers & all warranty issues with TYC must be done through the seller.
