Re: x5carl3tmurd3rx's Turbo build [updated 12-27-10]

uh not much really just gotta finish puttin all the timing **** on like tensioners and pulleys and **** like that, gotta figure out what I need to get my DSM injectors to work and get the oil pan taped and get the banjo fitting for my feed line. other then that its pretty much done other then some wiring and making the downpipe (already got all the parts just waittin to get a little better at welding before I put it all together)

Does anyone know exactly what I need to make the DSM injectors fit? I've got the end that goes into the rail to fit fine with the o-rings that came on the DSM injectors but I can't get the other end to fit into the manifold right. The little plastic cap things from the stock injectors that seal it all into the manifold don't click onto the ends of the DSM injectors so there's no way to get a tight seal in there. Can anyone shed some light on what I need to get to make it all seal correctly so I don't have any little fuel leaks?

Btw went to go put the head on tonight but ran into a few problems. I forgot to replace the intake manifold gasket and I need a gasket scraper to get the old one off. Also one of the holes for the headstuds in the block filled up with water somehow and it all froze so I gotta get all that melted and out of there so I can get the last headstud to thread into the block. also I'm still having trouble gettin all the crap out of my valve cover from when I media blasted it, cause I sure as hell don't want that sand **** to be floating around in my freshly built engine. I'm gonna try and remember to take some pics of it all tomorrow since I keep forgetting to do so.

are you reffering to the blue cap? i could have sworn those fit inside the f23 IM. i had to remove the honda cap to fit in the h23 IM, but thats for the h23

I'll post pics tonight. I just woke up and gotta get ready for class right now. its the little white cap of the stock injector on the manifold end of them. It doesn't fit onto the end of the DSM injector cause its slightly fatter.

Wish Marc (Retroshark) was still around, he'd definitely be able to help you because he was running these same exact ones on his build. I still got his number, but the bastard never answers his phone!

Think you have to sand/grind the o rings or something to make them fit..I know it has to do with the o-rings fitting into the F23 IM
