my package was shipped on last friday on 21st from NY.
scheduled delivery date is supposed to be dec. 1st to here in CA.

considering the fact that it takes about a week for their ground service from coast to coast + thanksgiving break.....why is my package still in NJ? are they going to "reschedule" delivery date and just postpone it?

anyone waiting for their package experiencing something similar?

Could just be how they route their packages. Or since it is the holiday - volume is heavy, it may just be on another trailer to a different destination for a partial load b/c they ran out of room on the original destination trailer which they will unload and reroute to the right trailer.

Thats how we did it at fedex.

they screwed up a overnight Early AM delivery for my company. Can't blame them though. It's expected.

Maybe they're taking a holiday break and will fly the package instead or driving it.... we won't know until you get it.

sometime the doesnt regularly updated like you expected it to be...it happen to me a couple of times and i thought the item was stuck somewhere else and it wasnt making it way to me like i thought it would be..but it show up on the front door like it said ...that night when i got the package i check the tracking too see wth happened since i thought it stuck in another state...turn out once i got the package...they updated the information of the package status..

UPS does not ship ground on Saturdays. Also there is very limited movement for ground today. Also ground will not be moving on thursday and friday. If its not delivered buy the first of december you can call 1800 pickups and they will give you your money back.

based on what information are you claiming that they will refund shipping fee?
also, it should be "....if it's not delievered BY the first of december..."

like litocg said.. sometimes they just don't update your tracking.. it's happened a couple of times before.. i give them 7 business days before i call them about my package.. unless i'm really paranoid i'll call them 3 - 5 days after the package has shipped.

if they missed just one scan it throws the whole tracking thing off I used to work for barnes and nobel.com and ups is notorious for that!!!!

its not updated... its prolly still in transit... some of my packages stay in transit for days b4 it gets updated again if its coast to coast
