It will fire th hids because the headlights flash with the alarm. Its bad for the ballasts when your alarm goes off

No I mean do you leave them on all the time and let them switch themselves off 15-30 seconds after you get out of the car? Or do you physically turn off your headlights before you get out of the car?
I have to shut mine off, I don't have the auto off feature on my SE. I tried it one night doesnt exist, which is why i was hoping i could disable that.

Honestly It's not a huge deal, just bugs me knowing that if my alarm ever goes off, and i'm not there, i might have a dead bulb or ballast when i get back to it.

Only your indicators should go off, IIRC, not the headlights.

May be the way you have things wired up.

Set off my car alarm today, and found out It fires the HID ballasts when it goes off. Any way to disable?

Also washed the salt off.

Read your owners manual on the options/settings. Otherwise it might be a dealer wiring option that should be changed or a dealer option that requires a dealer to reprogram your alarm head unit.

When i got my compustar installed, I ended up revisiting the dealer again to change some of the main options around to how i liked them using their programming unit.

Just used a relay harness. And it's been that way even with the halogens.

Not too bright. Perfect if I do say so myself. Obviously more red in person. The only thing that's too bright is the LED on the switch ironically.

That sir is awesome. I love it. I actually thought about doing that again. Did it to my 90 accord i used to have. But ill hook it up to a switch this time instead of the headlight fuse in the fusebox.
