Pay no mind to the dirty status of my ride. The last 3 times I've washed my car, it's managed to rain or sprinkle that same week without any notice from the weather channel. lol. Anyway, that's what 18x8 offset +40 looks like on a '01 sedan on FF type 1's. A bit sunk. Next paycheck I'm looking to get 205/45 or 205/40's and looks like maybe 10mm spacers.

45s are too beefy for 18s

Try and find a better website to buy from. those speaks are not great and tire rack blows and limits your options

at least go 17x8

17x8 would be better. However the only option for 8 inches wide is 18 inch rims. Which I'm ok with, however I just want to be able to install no problem I don't want to have to roll my fenders or anything. Will a 18x8 setup be fully functional? (no rubbing at all). I'm going to be lowered with about a 1 finger gap all around on FF type 2.5 coilovers. Any input is appreciated.

More like 10 up front and 20 in the back

You can find 17x10's fairly easily if you really wanted to haha 17x8 is even easier

Edit: now I feel dumb because I feel that you were referring to the sizes on that particular style.

205/40's plus maybe a small camber in the front would fix the rubbing I get from driveways... I rolled all my fenders already, but I think my right tire sorta caught and pulled the fender down a little bit, cause it's rubbing again on driveways... spacers definitely...

I was rubbing on 18x7.5's before... but the rears i just relocated the rear tab... the fronts however needed the roll even on 7.5's.
