Have future plans to run 18x9.5 all around. Would a 9.5 be a little TOO much for the front? Offsets are 35+ front & rear. About how much fender pulling would I need to do for the rear?

Thanks in advance.

With 9.5s, you might need to run some spacers with that offset. The issue is not because the wheels will be "sunken" it's because with that width and offset, the wheels might rub the struts on dips and such.

You can either try and run less camber or space it out. Either way, you'll need to do some pulling in the fronts regardless and maybe the rears, along with the other usual mods to the fenders/bumper. As for 9.5s in the front, you'll need to be at least 23.5" or less from fender-to-ground and run at least -3* camber. It will work as long as you put in the work.

And you should probably run some 215/40.

Thanks for your input, for the front though I might just run an 18x8, I do love the staggered look.

So in your honest opinion am I better off running an 18x9 in the rear or sticking with the 9.5? (Note that I am quite lazy and the less work the better) hahaha.

Also, I had the same idea for the tire size.

Thanks bro!

Alright guys, I'm kinda new to the whole sizing up wheels and stuff.
I'm more into the engine work.
I've been lookin for some new summer wheels since i sold my 17's a few weeks ago (got bored with the look and how heavy they were).

I'd like to stay in the 15 in. i think. I'm lookin at these

with 225/55 tires. The offset is +15.
My old 17's used to rub pretty bad when i turned too sharp or slammed on the brakes. Gets annoying.
I'm wondering if this would rub when i have im turning? My fenders are already rolled, but my old 17s used to rub anyway with 215/50 or 55. can't remember.
What do you guys think?

^Why 15's? So small...

But yeah, 225/55 would be an okay tire size for 8.25" wide 15in rim. Not sure how low you are or if you are tucking tire, I'll let someone else address that.

With 225/45's on those 17's, they would have been fine. Or even if they were 215/50's...doesn't make sense that you would rub.

Well I figured I'd try a small wheel wide tire stance. Think it'd look bad?
The old rims were like 7.5 with I think +38 offset. I'm not crazy low, but I plan on going lower when I get the new wheels. My biggest concern is rubbing. It used to drive me nuts. And how heavy they were.
I m aiming to keep a stock rim size and try to get a sturdier sidewall than the 65 that comes stock. Also, 15 inch rims and tires are cheaper than 17s
My ride thread has some examples of my current stance if you'd like an idea.
