2000 Honda Accord LX.
My car is completely stock except for the radio, I plan to mod the car but it will be a work in progress since I am in a low budget. I decided to create this thread in order to log my mods, future plans, and current progress. In addition get suggestions and recommendations.



-Engine / Performance:Stock

Future Plans
- SRI
- Cat Back or some other type of custom exhaust system​


-Suspension: Stock

Futer Plans

- Moderate Drop
- 5 Lug with rear Disk conversion.​

-Interior / ICE: Current

Sony Xplode CD MP3 Radio
-Cosmetic:

- Removed the hub caps and painted the stock rim(Black/w red lip)
- Painted the rear Drums Black
- Paint Valve Cover and clean engine bay.
- Black Headlight Housing​

Coming Soon/Work In progress

- Paint Brake Calipers

-Fix some dents and Paint the front end.

-Fix some clear coat paint damage that the car had when I got it.

Future Plans

- 17" or 18" After Market wheels
- Fog Lights

10-08-11-Most Resent After I too it to my mechanic to replace the core support

Nice and clean canvas, happy Modding. O and please don't paint your drums

you recommend not to paint the drums, because it doesnt look good or there is another reason why I shouldnt ?

I think he meant don't paint them some bright flamboyant colors or something.. If they are peeling or rusty, just take off all the crap with a wire brush drill attachment, and paint them with VHT Epoxy, black paint (or something similar). I'm not sure you want to be proud of the fact that you have drums by letting the world know with a color that stands out.

Thanks for the tips man! I was already planing on painting the drums black or Red but I didn't know what type of paint to use.. Now that I think about I just going to paint it black because I really dont like drum brakes. I was asking him because I didn't know if there was anther reason besides looks that he was recommending me to not to paint them.

New Updates 07/13/11

Removed the Hub caps and painted the rims black with red lip.
In the process of cleaning the engine bay. Painting the valve cover tomorrow and Exhaust Manifold heat shield.
