I have a 7" jenson flip out.forgot the part number,but its 2v preouts.
and the sub only bumped when the gain was up..I had it half to start but didnt even move!
well he mainly told me to get a 4channel amp to the speakers,so i can adjust the mids.ect.because the headunit is sending everything to the sub or something like that is what he told me.
and like i said in my own thread about the l5..im not very pleased with it compared to my l7.

gains are just for matching preamp levels, not a volume control. seems that something isn't right...is the sub output turned on inside the headunit? are the sub amp's RCAs hooked into the "rear" or "sub" output? is the polarity on the RCAs right? that doesn't matter tooooo much, though, depending on the amp.
amp is selected to "bridge" mode? crossover is set to "lowpass" and at 60-80Hz?
even if youre using the internal amp for the speakers, the sub output is separate and should be unaffected.

Im using the "Rear" RCA out puts..I did not have the correct "sub" output cable(i dont think)
and yes there corresponding the R/L from headunit to amp.
i do not have a "bridge" mode switch and yes i believe the low pass is in between that.

idk, it seems like everything is how it should be. Only thing i can think of is wiring?

^the sub output on the back of my headunit is a single yellow RCA output..so I dont know how I would wire that up?
and my sub is wired down to 4ohm,getting 450watts from the amp.Then wire is running into the +/- slot that the manual said to use. so its in the ++///--(its running into the 2nd +/-) <-if that makes since.
Edit;My headunit is Jensen VM9510TS if you wanna look into it.got it used,so have no remotes for it.
oh and also i was using another 7" non touchscreen when i had my L7.So maybe its the headunit.
