Ok no one seems to have a pic of the tranny filler bolt so here it is:

This is for the 2000 lx v6 coupe:

To locate the filler bolt look down into this general vicinity:

Here is what it looks like and I think it says ATF on it:

You might want to use a 6 point socket with some good/creative extensions because it is tight as hell.

Here is a pic of the drain bolt from under the front of car.

You need to use a 3/8in drive ratchet or breaker bar for this because it too was tight the first time i did it.

Obviously open the filler bolt first and then the drain bolt. And then fill her up with an appropriate amount according to your manual. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU USE HONDA ATF!

Hope this helps somebody! This is REALLY COOL BECAUSE IT IS THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I EVER POST A PIC IN A POST MUHAHAHAHAHAH!

Wow, I didn't realize there was a filler hole! I filled it through the dipstick hole and didn't have a funnel small enough so I came up with this ridiculous tube/funnel/electrical tape rig. Thanks for the info... Now clean that engine bay!!! :D

Why the hell are the pics down so soon after being posted?

Haha sorry I just got into photobucket too and was making an album for my accord stuff and one for my MDX too so I had to move the pics.

BTW what is a rep and how do I rep people?
Thanks RR!

Oh, and you guys can be sure this won't be my last pic :peace:

NP man, rep is given by clicking clicking the scale/balance icon in top right of each post. You rep a person's post which you find useful to others. You can give good or bad rep. The scale/balance icon is right next to the red triangle, which is used for reporting bad posts and misleading information.

Try it and rep a person whenever you find a post of theirs that is truly useful to the community.

i just use a narrow funnel i have to fill through the dipstick since that fill bolt is a bytch to get off.

same thing when draining, just pull the dipstick out and the air will enter the tranny through there making it drain faster.
