wanna run 17x9s with a +35 offset. not sure if i want to run a 205/40 or a 215/40. dont want a HUGE amount of stretch. just a nice moderate amount.

215/45 will be perfect. A 40 sidewall on 17s seem a bit too short, IMO.

215/45 is closer to the correct size than a 215/40,and would be a mild stretch.

205 would be pretty stretched, esp. 205/40. 205/50 would be the correct size anyway.

So 215/45s for the 17x9s? Does sound better to have a littler more meat on the sides and gripping the road.

That's what I had on mine, was a mild stretch. Worked well. If you want better handling put 225/45-17s on the front.

Unless he plans to/already has his front fenders pulled, 225/45 will rub like crazy on turns and u-turns. This applies if you are tucking any amount of tire.

Again, 215/45 is right on the money.

Shouldn't be your concern if you aren't lowered.

Get the mod priorities straight and then worry about wheels.

Dont wanna slam or go too low. prolly just go with some konis, and sportlines.
