Trying to decide between 7 and 8 on stock rings and 97k mile block. What do you think I should do?

Nikita you didn't bother with painting/tucking the bay at all?

Didn't care for the show aspect of the build?

Derek, after all the work I did, I didn't have enough time to actually paint the bay. I could have tucked it more than I did, but that's something I can do in like an hour or two after everything is up and running and working. The painted and SHAVED engine bay will happen during stage 5 of my build and that is when I will be putting the built block in with built head, bigger turbo and everything like that etc. For now, my purpose is to get the car running and relocate to New England because that's where I need to get a job and work. Everything else can wait. Yeah I know it doesn't look the best with the gunk scraped off and the scratched up bay, but I could care less right now because I have other things which take priority over this aspect. By the way, I did a pretty decent tuck with the engine harness.. Look above. I didn't get to the head light harnesses running along the inside of the left and right of the bay though, like I said I can do that later very quickly and without having to mess with anything around the engine.

Nikita, the fact that you got this build done in the first place deserve props.

It's true as long as it is up and running, the cosmetic stuff can be done at a later time.

Props on the work though.

The engine bay looks like there is NO ROOM for anything in there now, so tucking/shaving would make it look that much better.

Yeah, I gotta get that battery outta there and relocated to trunk and tuck headlight harnesses. Also want to relocate fuse box inside car.

About to go setup that AEM EMS.
