Re: Russianred's Turbo Build Thread! *UPDATED 6/22*

Well it's late August now, and still not retuned.. It's okay though - all good things come to those who wait and do it right the first time.

My exhaust guy at Performance Muffler welded on a fresh 90 degree mandrel bend for my downpipe, and this greatly increased my flow because the other bend was 1/3 collapsed from bottoming out. Also re-welded the o2 sensor bung so my wideband stops getting broken as a result of bottoming out. Muffler was tucked as well so now it sits much more flush and not crooked anymore.

Just got in a new Bosch wideband o2 sensor, and within the next few days installing Helix Throttle Body Spacer along with Stinker's Greddy Profec B Spec II electronic boost controller unit.

Getting pretty excited here.. Expecting to get on the dyno sometime next week, as early as possible in the morning, so that the tune temp is low.

On a not so positive note.. I'm not liking how my clutch has been engaging lately - high friction point, and soft almost OEM like engagement, as opposed to prior midway engagement with a more grippy transition. LOL, after the tune I won't be doing any launches or dig runs, just minimum 30mph pulls. I want to stress the clutch as least as possible with the sudden power, which is usually seen moreso with launches as opposed to pulls.

That's all for now, will follow with pics of progress at some point when I actually get my hands dirty.

I don't have car audio, and I have a new battery (Oddyssey) so I am not worried about my car dying. I don't really use the voltage function. It's hooked up to turbo timer & voltage, but I always leave it on the timer. I have no use for A/F either.. especially a narrowband, since I have the AEM wideband controller.
