:slap:..stunna, you're not supposed to touch the top two rings. the only one you should ever mess with is th bottom locking ring ..teins should be the same

Search before you speak, or maybe just read, you dont have to search much and you might understand a thing...or maybe two if its a good day. You're not actually moving any of the rings o smart one, as they're supposed to be locked against each other. To lower you turn the top one...it locks against the bottom one hence nothing moves but the body just spins inside the lower mount. To raise, you turn the lower one...it locks agasint the upper one and again nothing moves but the body spinds outside the lower mount.

Nevertheless, you can still go ahead and take of the lower mount bolt, and do it that way if it makes you feel bigger in the pants.

fallout09890, on tein basic/ss you adjust height by moving the spring perch up or down and then locking it in place. How do i know? o wait i have them on the car:dunce:

lol dude, I think we're the only two that realize that they're telling us to do two contradicting things.

You can go with either option
-Unbolt lower mount, spin it up or down, lock it in place and bolt it again(however like this your minimum adjustment has to be at least half a circle). I just find this to be extra work and unnecessary, especially after you've got the coils installed on the car already.
-Do what Ken mentioned in the post above i quoted(in this method you have no limit to adjustment minimum or max)

If it's that confusing.. forget that you read all the stuff that's already been posted.

Just watch this video.. instructions can't get any more clearer than this. It is Sleeper Cell's F2 tutorial that he made a couple years back. This applies to all the F2's, Ksport's, Megan's, and similar coilovers.

Teins and other coil overs use the top 2 locks to adjust, most coil overs use the mount. It all depends on what you have, sorry forgot to mention.
