Anyway...this swap gonna happen in my lifetime? What is left to do?

Yea that landing will def tell you it's the suspension lol.

I hope you won't be a grandpa, when the swap is done..

But really, as far as the replacements go, while this car is being drivable, it should be just this, and the swap can happen w/o any additional work. (Maybe the heater core hoses? Idk. Was told abt that once.. then the swap time.)

But I gotta figure out where to tow it and store it, too.. Once I figure that out, I can get the swap happen.

I have yet to figure out whether I should get this semi crappy dash + harnesses out in order to get the correct mileage on the clock, with the operatable electronic features, like memo seats n heated mirrors etc..

At this point, no one knows how long I'll be nursing out this queen, when she gets her castle. Oh yeah, the queens are both in the same SMR color.

Got her checked out, and the shaft assemblies had a little play.




All this in order to replace the T1 clock bulb, right below the center air duct lol. The 6GA's take only 30 seconds...

Got the car back with new factory axles & half shaft parts components. Yay! No more vibrations! No more driving like a gran ma in a limping mode either. Man, I forgot how powerful this car was.. The acceleration on the 3rd & 4th gear is absolutely insane.. It's so much fun to drive this thing again, it's really hard not to speed up to the next gear lol.

I think it's reasonable to say that this whole parts replacement game, prior to the swap, is pretty much done now. Maybe renewing a couple of old ground wires & rusty wire harness brackets, or so? But that's about it. It took a lot of patience and time to get here from the start, which was abt three years ago. But, with all these new parts, I believe that the swap will be simple and solid, w/o having any issues, when the time comes. Over all, I am very relieved now, and fully ready to enjoy driving this thing for a while!

EDIT: I just remembered about getting the new BF cylinder cap to take care of the leakage issue!

Was thinking that the parts replacement game has been all set, but it really wasn't. The clutch slave cylinder has a little leaking now, so let's screw what I said previously lol. The car has been running great, and I can't be happier, but I've been having this little knocking / pinging sound coming from the bay when the vtec engages from time to time. Turns out that the sparks have minor signs of knocking. They were all fine with even gap on all cylinders, but I will going to stay away from Costco's premium gas from now, since they often have bad / poor batches of gas periodically, which can create this type of issue, especially on premium gas required J32 engines. (Whereas my J30 Accord has no problem with Costco's unleaded.) It's been doing off and on, so I'm sure it will disappear eventually as I switch it over to better gas.

Was thinking that the parts replacement game has been all set, but it really wasn't. The clutch slave cylinder has a little leaking now, so let's screw what I said previously lol. The car has been running great, and I can't be happier, but I've been having this little knocking / pinging sound coming from the bay when the vtec engages from time to time. Turns out that the sparks have minor signs of knocking. They were all fine with even gap on all cylinders, but I will going to stay away from Costco's premium gas from now, since they often have bad / poor batches of gas periodically, which can create this type of issue, especially on premium gas required J32 engines. (Whereas my J30 Accord has no problem with Costco's unleaded.) It's been doing off and on, so I'm sure it will disappear eventually as I switch it over to better gas.

I don't know if you've had the check valve deleted on your CL or not, but HeelToe offers new OEM Slave cylinders with the Clutch delay check valve deleted. I love the way the clutch feels without it. I bought a new slave for the TLS since the clutch feels awful with the valve present.

Well, I haven't checked out the Costco's octane level in my city, but I'm suspecting that it could be 91 instead of 93..

I've been pumping gas at either Shell or Chevron for the past few pumps, ever since I was suggested by my mechanic. The knocking is definitely reduced, and it has been a significant change. I can almost say it is completely gone. Been wanting to rotate the tires, but it's been way too fucking cold (for me) lately..

It's about time to take care of the leaking clutch slave cylinder situation. Received the OEM cylinder w/o the clutch delay valve by Heal Toe Auto. Since my clutch and the cylinders are all stock, I always have to freeze my foot a little bit before I entirely let go off the pedal in order to engage it smoothly in the right gear. I am guessing that I'll be able to ditch that action with this deleted delay valve. Maybe I'll be able to step on the pedal and change gears quickly as seen in The Fast n Furious movie? But correct me, if my guess isn't right.

Ordered the steel braided clutch line by P2R Power Rev Racing. They say that this will connect the cylinders directly together directly. With that said, I believe this will clear the engine bay by deleting some of the original clutch line / hose / pipe components & brackets. But, again, please correct me, if my guess isn't sharp. Anyhow, it seems like the buyers are happy with the better feeling of the clutch, so I'm looking forward to feel the improvement(s), together with the new slave cylinder.

The original clutch master cylinder is doing fine right now, but I will most likely renew it as well. Might as well because it's old, and the rest is becoming pretty much all new at this point. The factory master cylinder is sadly discontinued, but I was informed that the one for the 7GA / 3G TL / RSX / 1G TSX will be similar enough to fit and work with no problem.

Also ordered the brake master cylinder reserve tank's cap and the seal to take care of the leakage. Renewing one of the sub ground wires to replace the rusty one as well. Hopefully, the new wire will resolve the sudden RPM drop at the use of a power feature.

It's about time to take care of the leaking clutch slave cylinder situation. Received the OEM cylinder w/o the clutch delay valve by Heal Toe Auto. Since my clutch and the cylinders are all stock, I always have to freeze my foot a little bit before I entirely let go off the pedal in order to engage it smoothly in the right gear. I am guessing that I'll be able to ditch that action with this deleted delay valve. Maybe I'll be able to step on the pedal and change gears quickly as seen in The Fast n Furious movie? But correct me, if my guess isn't right.

Ordered the steel braided clutch line by P2R Power Rev Racing. They say that this will connect the cylinders directly together directly. With that said, I believe this will clear the engine bay by deleting some of the original clutch line / hose / pipe components & brackets. But, again, please correct me, if my guess isn't sharp. Anyhow, it seems like the buyers are happy with the better feeling of the clutch, so I'm looking forward to feel the improvement(s), together with the new slave cylinder.

Haha I hate that pause when clutching, it'll definitely be gone for sure. The braided line will clean up some of the old line, but it will be a little longer in length since they make it a universal line. I highly recommend using a vacuum bleeder to help bleed that line completely. It may take a few tries but be patient and you'll be "double-clutching like you should" in no time!
