The paint turned out well with no orange peel but there was a small bubble after a couple of days on one of the side mounting tabs but no biggie. And clear bra has no orange peel neither. That's why I chose to go with Ventureshield rather than 3M.

I got it painted for $100 and $150 for the clear bra.

Wow:DThats really clean.

looks really really really good

Thanks guys!

Could have painted it for $20-30. Auto zone actually have NHBP in spray can. I did my front lip with and cleared it. Cost less than $30. Sand. Prime. Paint.

Looks awesome Davis. How did modding the lip to fit the sedan bumper go?

And did you wax the lip or anything before you got the clearbra? Or just got it painted, waited a month, then got it clearbra'd?

I see where you're coming from but I want it to last, hence the reason why I went with a clear bra. If I'm spending a pretty penny on an OEM lip and clear bra, might as well get a decent professional paint job and not have to worry about painting it pretty much ever again. The two mugen lips that I've had were rattle-canned and they chipped after a month and look like ass.

But if I do keep my mugen lip as a spare, I'll probably just rattle-can it like you said.

Thanks, Chris! It wasn't too bad actually. Just simple cutting on the lip and shaving off part of the fog light grille at the bottom. Fits great actually.

I didn't wax the lip but they polished it before applying the clear bra. And they recommended using a polisher/sealant called Plexus to protect it.

I might try this too.
