The good news though is that new lugs came in so they will be delivered with the wheels as well. :)

So. I am currently on a set of wheels with specs of 17x7 +38 with a 215/45 tire.

I am looking into upgrading to a set of 8thGen Coupe V6 wheels. Which specs are 18x8 +55.

To keep my current "stance". What tire/spacer will work for me? According to a Wheel/Tire calculator. I should run a 225/40 tire. With a 5mm spacer all around.

What do the "Gurus" think about this? Any other suggestions? Comments? Concerns?

**I am not looking to stance this car. I am looking to keep the wheels in the exact or atleast close to where they sit now. Reason being because I would rather keep body work out of the picture. And this car needs to safely get me back and forth from Technical School/Work everyday starting in September.**

Thanks Guys.:coffee:

Sort of hard to see but this is with a 225/40 tire and 20mm spacer.

So I guess going by this. If I went with a 215/40 tire and a 15mm spacer it should sit similar to this: (old pic, lower now)

John, the car's stock tire size was 205/65/15, correct? A 215/45/18 will be the closest match to keep the speedo happy. 215 on 8" is going to show some stretch.

A 215/40/18 is -2.8% diameter, to me that's a little more than I like to be off by. But the smaller diameter would help you fit everything better and you'd be able to have the car sit a little lower.

225/40/18 is the middle ground, only off by -1.6%, and I think the fitment with a 20mm spacer in the above pic looks great. Personally I'd take the extra tire width for a tad more grip on your low-yet-functional setup.

Well, in the wheel/tire calculator that I was using I was comparing a 215/45/17 tire to a 215/40/18. And it told me its +0.6 larger.

As far as "stance" I think maybe a 15mm spacer + 215/40 tire all around should give me what I have now.

I just want to be able to bolt-on and go with the new wheel setup. No BS.
