I thought your swap failed you... until I saw the swap was after the fact of your car being totalled. Looks great man!

Congrats on the revival man! Did you just finish it or was it finished a bit ago? I remember seeing your ride thread updated a few weeks ago. Well at least it got compensated for! How much was it just to straighten out the frame? Like some others, I was afraid something had happened AGAIN.. That would have been horrible.

That's some good cash! :naughty:

how did the insurance give u $6k when the KBB is around $4k?

does that mean u have been insuring the car for $6k value (aka higher premiums) all this time?

Sorry to hear about the jackass who doesn't believe in tying things down. But is it me or is there an accord curse going around...:hide:

Accord curse definitely seems to be going around

^ church. EDIT: to op updating that

i kinda wish i hit something on the freeway.. but i dont got full coverage..

and i kinda feel the same on the curse.

It may have sucked not having my car for a month but I feel that it was worth it..lol

Its good to hear you decided to keep it and made it faster instead of getting something completely different. your accord is too sexy to just walk away from:jae:

Thank you. :ohyou:

You scared me, I saw this thread and thought…he JUST swapped his car and now this...

That must’ve been one bad night though. Ugh. Glad it all worked out for the best. :)

I cannot stand when truck drivers are not paying attention to what’s falling out the back of their truck…

lol, I can see where this would be confusing. And it was a pretty depressing night. Especially since my cell phone stopped working later that night too...

it hurts to see that, but i'm glad you revived her! =DD!!

Thank you!

Glad everything is ok now! Enjoy the new engine

I definitely am. haha

awesomesauce!! :squintwave:

:peace:

Damn that's crazy. Glad your ok tho...

And congrats on the new swap

Thank you very much. :)

It was finished a little while ago. ECU was put in last week. and the frame was perfectly fine. The K-Frame had to be replaced though which is just bolted on.

KBB is actually $5k(if in excellent condition), and a good insurance company usually gives a higher value if the car is totaled. My friend recently totaled his Speed Miata and received $6K more than he paid for it. So he bought another one and put more mods into it. lol
