i get what other people are saying about the threads already there like the 90 link posted in the diy master list. I do think that you intend to help out which is great. but this thread will only show up for the next week or so on the "new posts", after that it will really just be lost and just as "difficult" to find the diys on the master list. but again I understand your trying to help out. if you stick around for awhile you will understand ... happy modding though, you'll have fun!

Besides an LSX swap, everything has already done and written about for the Honda Accord. There is only so much you can do to the Honda Accord. It's really simple to search and you'll find anything you need to know.

But this thread isn't for blackhoused headlight or more advanced mods.

This thread is simply:

Mods that are easy to do, that can be replaced to OEM with little to no trouble at all.

Blackhousing is arguably a lot easier than some of the things you listed. Besides, my point wasn't that blackhousing should be in your new thread, it was that blackhousing, along with tons of other easy "plug and play" mods already have a home in the DIY master list. Have you read the thread I'm referring to?Here's the OP. And it's already stickied.

Just to make sure I get this point across as clearly as possibly, I've highlighted things from your list that are already here.

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS!!!! If yours or something you want up here, please PM me and i will add it. I would like to keep this as clean of a thread as possible

That's a pretty boring DIY list.

Lets get some AWD setups and some LS1 swaps lol. We're all sick of the same retro fit, coilover, xxr wheel theads. Yawn

just kidding!!

if anything, most all new DIY should be added to Badger's list (pending approval)

Define "dumbest of the dumb". I think a skill level should be applied here.

Courtesy lights
Dome lights
Brake, tail, turn, reverse, and headlights
Wheels
Visors

I'd classify those as the easiest things to do. Simple remove and replace.

I've had ZERO formal training and have picked up tips and tricks by watching guys at dealerships and online or simply figuring it out myself. I'd consider my steering wheel swap, to date, the hardest/scariest thing I've done. Not only did it have danger potential to myself but it had the potential to **** up a number of things in my car, lol. Removing my resonator was probably the next hardest.

I haven't done it in this car but ive removed/swapped seats and it was a PITA. Removing the HVAC components weren't too hard bjt it required some finesse. Same with swapping LEDs. The radio isn't too hard.

Different people consider different things to be harder or easier than others. If you've done it or know what you're doing, a steering wheel swap is relatively easy. But for someone who's never done it or has little to no experience, it could be scary.

I remember the fear in your voice when you called in the middle of the swap... haha. It was a good payoff in the end though. :)

I, for one, support this thread. It's exactly what I was looking for. Not that I am new to this, but I am trying to find some small things to keep myself occupied on the way to bigger things. Many new guys are going to look at the mast DIY list and be lost. Clicking on things only to find out it's above their skill level, such as Black housing mods. Definitely not for the faint of heart beginner. Good job!
